I love this litter box. I haven't had to scoop litter in a year! The only thing I will say is: Make sure you snap the lid closed before rolling it! My sister never snaps it closed and some litter leaks out of the side. If you snap it closed, that doesn't happen!

I absolutely love it!

One more thing: If you have a large cat, get the large size! I have the normal size & my cat struggles a bit to get in & out, but she's a BIG girl!

Large isn't "large" enough

I bought this box because we needed a new one and my husband was eyeing an expensive electric model. We have three cats that share one box. The electric models seem designed for one cat households and I didn't want to spend hundreds on something they wouldn't use because it came on so often they're scared away! So, we tried this one as a compromise and while it is okay, it's just not worth the cost.

First, the description "large" is deceptive. I can't imagine what the medium must look like, but the large isn't very big. I'd say it would be fine for one medium sized cat. The divider takes up over a third of the interior making the box even smaller for my cats. One of whom is very big. The box isn't deep enough so we have to add litter often. The rolling feature is okay, if you have a lot of space around the box. However, my cats tend to stay half in, half out of the box when urinating so it piles up at the front and sticks to the box, so rolling doesn't clear it and I still have to reach in to scoop. This is annoying because the entrance is small and the lid wasn't easy to get attached so I don't want to remove it. Honestly, I am just considering taking our the grating divider and scooping like we used to.

Overall, if you have one small or medium cat, this box will probably work great and be worth the price. If you have a big fat cat, or multiple cats like me, then avoid this.

Great idea - poor execution

I am giving this product two stars because the idea behind the litter box is brilliant. Absolutely brilliant! The materials used to construct it, however, leave much to be desired. The plastic is cheap and the parts do not fit together as neatly as they should, thus it fails overall.

It is unfortunate that the manufacturers can not be bothered to create a high quality product. As I said, the idea behind this litter box is great. It really is. And mine worked pretty well for almost a month before it started to fall apart.

I would have no problem paying more for this item, if the construction were sound. Were it meant to last and be more integrated, I would be willing to pay twice as much. The convenience it potentially imparts is amazing. But unfortunately poor craftsmanship renders it useless. I am very disappointed.

This is great litter box. The cover keeps all the litter contained and also seems to keep the odor under control as well. Get the large because some of the interior space is taken up by the screening mechanism. It’s simple to use and our young cat had no problems adapting to it. You won’t be unhappy or disappointed if you buy it.

I am so glad that I bought the Omega Paw self-cleaning litter box for my two cats. I bought the large one and best of all–they love it! Just like most all of the other reviewers said, it is so easy to use, to clean, to fill, etc. The clean-up is just seconds. No more arguing with my husband as to who will lug out our old litter box and clean it outside! This one, you tip over, tap on the bottom a bit to loosen up any hardened litter, tip it back over and empty the side drawer. So easy to do. I have used a few different type litters so far, anything that says “clumping”-from Arm and Hammer, Tidy Cats, and Cats Pride. All work fine. If you need a litter box, this is the one for you!
